Our team has extensive experience in transactions involving residential, commercial, industrial and mixed-use developments, as well as projects related to infrastructure and capital-intensive assets. Our practice is distinguished by its practical, business-oriented approach, guiding clients from the initial structuring of projects through the negotiation and execution of complex real estate transactions, including matters involving transactional and financing components. We regularly advise on matters related to:
- Negotiating and drafting purchase and sale agreements, leases, development, design, construction, maintenance and property management agreements.
- Implementing real estate trusts and investment and development structures, including arrangements involving land contributions, capital raising and construction for subsequent sale or operation.
- Acquiring, disposing of and structuring real estate assets and projects in the residential, commercial and industrial sectors.
- Preparing and regularizing comprehensive real estate records, including permits, licenses, plans, zoning authorizations, vested rights, property tax documentation and all records necessary to evidence the good standing of the asset.
- Managing legal due diligence processes and risk assessments related to real estate assets, including a comprehensive review of the property’s regulatory, administrative and compliance matters.
- Coordinating with external tax advisors on property tax assessments and the filing of vulnerable activities notices before the relevant authorities.
- Structuring real estate transactions involving complex financial, regulatory and transactional components.
