- We are committed to the current social and environmental challenges we currently live in Mexico and in our planet; our decision making considers long term interests that benefit our clients, team, suppliers, communities and environment.

- We are one of the first law firms in Mexico to include social and environmental policies.
- Since 2021, Blanco Carrillo has pledged 1% of billing to social and/or environmental causes, paving the way for more corporate responsibility.

- Growing our people is one of our highest priorities, we have developed an internal policy for the professional and personal development of our team.
- Our training hours objective per lawyer and staff member is at least 15 hours a year.
- We collaborate and build alliances with third parties through our “pro-bono” program for non-profit and/or social impact organizations.
- Our “pro-bono” hours objective per lawyer is at least 100 hours a year.
- We seek to offer services that contribute to social innovation, helping entrepreneurs incorporate their businesses and/or helping them include and/or modify statutes to ones that require the consideration of employees, community and environment. Since our creation, we have advised numerous companies with these services and look to increase this number every year.
Positive impact on the environment
- We work towards developing a team that is conscious of its impact in an efficient, accessible, and environmentally friendly workspace.
- Our current priority is to reduce energy and paper consumption.
- In 2022, we will continue with our goal of reducing energy consumption per employee by at least 5% per year.
- Additionally, we seek to work jointly on waste management issues with the building where our offices are located.
- We aspire to be carbon neutral by 2025.
- We measure our organizational carbon footprint using the Greenhouse Gas Protocol standardized frameworks. Such frameworks are aligned with the World Resources Institute and the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD). As a result of this measurement, we develop strategies to reduce our emissions given that we aspire to be carbon neutral in the near future.
